RAMIE SILK – Ichigo Ichie No. 8

Ichi-go ichi-e (一期一会 “Once in a lifetime”) is a Japanese idiom that describes a cultural concept of treasuring the unrepeatable nature of a moment. This yarn is dyed with leftover dyes and the colors left on the dyeing tools. The intuitive color compositions make every single color unique. There are only 5 – 30 skeins per color and they cannot be reproduced!

RAMIE SILK – Ichigo Ichie is a yarn blend consisting of virgin wool, silk and ramie. It’s a very special and fine yarn. It feels light and cool, that’s why it’s well suited for summer projects.

手染めの過程で残った染料を利用して、“一期一会の色”を染めました。これらの色はレシピのない、偶然生まれた色たちです。そのため、同じ色は再びつくることができません。それぞれの色は５かせから３０かせほどの少量の生産です。ぜひ一期一会のお気に入りの色をみつけてください
