TANNE Yarn Set

We are very happy to introduce you to the latest collaboration with the designer Issuelyric – Tae . The TANNE scarf design was inspired by majestic fir trees standing in the deep forest.

It’s a beautiful project from start to finish, where you can draw a fir tree and finish knitting with just one skein of the yarn. When worn, the scarf looks particularly expressive with its distinctive, jagged line on the back.

Our Baby Alpaca is dyed exclusively for TANNE:
Baby Alpaca – Twilight Forest, which is presented for the first time at Mominoki Yarn, is a special colourway developed exclusively for TANNE. Tae and I already worked together on this color last summer, exchanged ideas and carefully coordinated the color palette – so we are all the more excited to finally be able to present it to you. A deep, dark blue base is interspersed with accents of light sage green, blue and dark brown. Knitted, the colours combine to create a calm, earthy overall picture that is reminiscent of a quiet, mysterious forest after sunset. Baby Alpaca – Lakeside Glow uses the same color palette but has an ivory base that gives the yarn a lighter and softer vibe. This colour was also specially designed for TANNE and is strictly limited – only five skeins are available.

Our baby alpaca yarn is spun from carefully selected baby alpaca fibers from Peru. It feels supple and pleasant on the skin and impresses with an almost melting softness – ideal also for the neck area.
