Ichi-go ichi-e (一期一会 “Only once in a lifetime”) is a proverb that is used in everyday life or in the tea ceremony. It describes a cultural concept of appreciation of the irretrievable moment.
The colours of the strands are spontaneously designed by Chihiro with excess colour mixtures and colour residues from the dyeing instruments according to inspiration and are uniquely linked to the moment of creation.
There are only 5 – 30 skeins per color composition and they cannot be re-dyed.

Description

GERMAN MERINO is our original 2-ply knitting yarn. It is airy, light and rustic. Suitable for any project, especially for light, warm sweaters and accessories. With approx. 230m/100g it is a DK-Worsted yarn weight.

The natural merino wool comes from the foothills of the Alps in southern Germany and has also been spun there in a small family-owned spinning mill, and hand-dyed here in Berlin. Thus, from the rearing of the sheep to the dyeing, it has been produced entirely within Germany.

Care instructions: Separate hand wash with lukewarm water. Dry the knitted piece flat.
